NEAT!
I kinda like it, though.
If I want synths, I put my Reason via rewire.
The mono/ stereo feature alone is worth the money - Now I can get 6 outs from my EMI2|6 instead of only 3 (2 for live, 1 for reason via live).
also, 69 euros for the download version is not that expensive.
For all you crackers out there - Start buying your software. Real people are working on it. Stealing from ableton is NOT like stealing from microsoft.

stop bitching
Seen your posts many times. Are you selling VSTis, because you are so mad about Ableton not incorporating VSTi? This application is just for Audio. Period. For my kind of usage VSTi would be great too. But I see Ableton's point, and I think just of having a copy of Live doesn't give you the right to bitch about that product and people who are developing it. It is your choice buying and using it. Ableton is very cooperative in having a future wishlist and is communicating with its users. If you want to have VSTi incorporated, you have to buy Ableton.bcslaam wrote:I cant believe it. What planet is Ableton on. STILL no VSTi softsynths or samplers. If they really think it's not that important then they are seriously dillusional.
There's not even a mention of their plans on VSTi.
What a joke. Big let down for many people.

The Things
The reason I believe that the thing shouldn`t happen, is the reason I am here. Who? Monkeys don't believe in horses. That's a fact

piracy from ableton=bad
agreed about not pirating from ableton.
1) IMO this is one of the few pieces of software genuinely worth paying for,
and
2) they're not exactly what you'd call a corporate monolith. how many people here would be sad if they went out of business? i know i would. not only would i lose updates on a great piece of gear, but i feel that the evolution of computer-as-instrument would actually be set back.
3) the serious part is that for software this specialized and new, piracy could significantly cut into their profits and mean the difference between sinking and floating.
crackers: think about it,

What's all this about using a crack. I'm using the demo thankyou. Would never steal from Ableton.
69 euros for the download version of Live! Where? I thought it was $249.
Dont get me wrong, if I buy Ableton I'm not going to haunt the forum with winges, I garauntee that. But come on, as far as making the program too big or bloated with VSTi. It would be one more submenu under VST.
