The D50 runs on four standard AA batteries. There is no recharging going on, USB or otherwise. It's all in the article, m'lad, the article:mh wrote:thinking of buying an Sony PCM-D50... but i don't find any information about charging the batteries.
so when the battery is empty - i have to remove it and charge with an external battery charger, right? or is it possible to charge the batterie with usb?
thanks for your help!!

The pricetag of the Korg MR-1 just got nearly halved. Yesterday it was $700 - today it's $399. Yowza.

The buttons in general don't look like being build for eternity. You can buy a cheap "Silicon Jacket" for the H2 to protect it from dirt, it also claims to minimize handling noise.littlepig wrote:I just bought a Zoom H2. Made a few recordings which seem pretty good, easy to use an dvery light.
I am a bit concerned about the build quality the on/off button seems a bit flimsy.
Fortunately all major music stores in Germany offer 3 years warranty. Personally I bought it some Euro cheaper at an electronic store and paid 13 Euro extra for a 4 year warranty.
