How to "hot swap" a sample like in Reason?

Post by Autoreverse » Mon May 26, 2008 4:45 pm

Take a drum rack in live 7, if I hot swap a snare I cant get the preview of the new sample to play as the original sound i'm hot swapping until I press Enter. Is there a way to make it work like in Reason, where you can, with one click, audition the next sample in place? It is a very common feature and I cant seem to find anything related to it in the manual nor in the forum.
Any idea?

thanks in advance

Turn on swap on that pad in the drum rack then doubleclick in the browser.

I know you wanted just one click but doubleclick's not bad.

Yeah, you can't scroll through sounds like you can in Reason, you have to use the double-click Luke :D

Or use Reason via Rewire.
