Post by iamjungle » Tue May 27, 2008 6:00 am

computer A : powermac G4 733/protools TDM 6.4.1/midisport 2*2
computer B : ibook G4 / LIVE 5.2.2 / digidesign 002R

I sent midi beat clock from A to B , recording audio into the protools system in studio.
got a very big latency,(not only time delay, also the groove is not right).

is any one have the prob with it?

Hi!

I have a slightly different problem, but nevertheless it heads in the same direction ...

I use different hardware machines, e.g. a MFB-503 Drummachine and a Bassline 303 Clone, and thex consistently run out of Sync with Live 7.07.

I never had this problem with 7.02, and since these probs started to surface just seconds after ungrading to 7.07, I'll check back to 7.02 ...

Hopefully someone can shine some light on this.

Best wishes,

pbanken

Indeed, after checking back with my trusted 7.02 version of Live, the Midi Sync Probs disappeared ... It is truly a bummer if Ableton messed up the Midi Clock works with this update to 7.07, but I say this acknowleding the fact that I am not a super-buffed studio head. I could have messed up my default Midi Set ups on 7.07, but who knows ... Let's wait what other users will report!

Cheers, pbanken
