Clip Navigation Via MIDI

I just got a Hercules RMX DJ Controller, and it has some nice navigation buttons in the middle for choosing songs. I'd like to be able to use these buttons to navigate between tracks and clips in the Session view. Usually this can be done with the arrow keys on the computer keyboard, but the navigation buttons on the RMX are sending MIDI signals. Is there a way to use these MIDI signals to control the clip navigation in the same way that the keyboard arrow keys can? Thanks for the info.

If you're on PC, bomes MIDI translater is what you'll need.

you could also try the Mackie Control Emulation mode

Thanks, this worked like a charm! My Hercules RMX now has full clip (and browser!) navigation in Live. And it seems like theres a ton of other useful possibilities with this tool that I look forward to playing with as well.

For anyone interested, I posted a review of the Hercules DJ Console RMX on my blog So far it seems like an ideal DJ controller for Live.
