Changing A Sample's BPM Label?

Post by Myrrdin » Thu May 29, 2008 11:44 pm

Hi, I am using rewire to record audio from MaxMSP into Ableton. I recorded a track and realized that ableton's BPM was at 120, while my Max track was at 100. I'd like have my audio from Max be labeled as being originally at 100 as oppopsed to 120 without changing the content of the audio, which would allow me to layer time dependent ableton effects without it sounding off. Could someone tell me how to do this?

Much thanks.

either re-import it from max at the right tempo or...

warp the clips in ableton that you recorded and use whatever tempo you want?
