Hello, all. I just got my mac pro and right off the bat i am having a problem i never had on my Pc.

Im working on Ablton 7.0.1 along with Reason 4 and my Novation SL when i press the keyboard at no specefic time it will do like an audio glitch sound and both Ableton & Reason tempo reset it self to 0 bmp. Reason continues to function as i just manually type back the tempo i had, but Ableton crashes and i have to force quit it. I am hoping its not a Quadcore 8 issue or a leopard issue. anybody have an i dea what i missed?

o and it also did it while the sequencer was not running and i was just pressing the keys on the keyboard

Mac Pro 3.0 quadcore xeon
leopard latestes version
Ableton 7 (i tried it on 7.0.1 and with the new update no diffrence
Reason 4 (i tried it with and without the update no luck
Novation SL 61 Latest version from Novation site

I had a similar crash when doing a concert before christmas- me using Ableton Live rewired to Reason, using Reason as an instrument rack and using Live for playing pre-programmed stuff. All of a sudden, the tempo was reset to 0- Live crashed, but Reason was still playable, although the temp was set to 0. My live set went to pieces two times in half an hour because of this- extremely frustrating. I have a similar setup as Christianplanes- namely a MacBook Pro 2,33 gHz intel 2gig ram, Leopard 10.5.2, Ableton Live 7.02, Propellerhead Reason 4.01, Novation Remote SL 37, RME Fireface 800 connected through the fw800 port. All the latest drivers installed. Please fix this, Abes- I cannot do a gig unless you get rid of the zero-tempo bug!

I noticed this bug also... but be aware that it can also be an Novation issue!

same bug here, running quad-core on windows xp sp3 with Live 7.0.3, Novation Remote 25 SL and Reason 4 here as well. We need a fix!!!

just updated to automap 2.0 with new drivers from novation. problem still exists.

Hi, I'm having this problem also. Couldnt find any posts about ubtil i found this one. Running 7.0.7 on a dual core PC with a novation remote sl 25. i'm also running a laptop with the same Remote. I have NO problem on the laptop yet the problem seems to occur on my main PC whenever i apply mote. I also have a CME UF6, the problem doesnt seem to happen with aftertouch from this controller. Doing my head in!! Has anyone had a reply or found a solution to this problem yet?

That last post was supposed to read the problem occurs when i apply aftertouch on the remote SL.
