Impulse: Save Kit Self Contained

Post by supster » Sun Sep 26, 2004 8:17 pm

Impulse .. great intrument!

We need a way to Save Kit Self Contained: that way build a great kit, then save the kit with all of the samples self contained - in the same way we can save a Live Set self-contained

Simple solution for a simple problem: categorizing thousands of drum samples into kits and useful collections ready to go

when you save as self contained it saves copies of impulse samples and simpler samples with it.

and obviously you can create presets...

maybe an option to self contain all impulse presets!
then it would be easily transferd from o rig to the next

Yes, this is what I meant. Main reason being ... having it all dumped in one directory is ok, but drum samples are the one thing some of us have thousands of.

Saving the whole kit preset / samples in one directory makes it easier to organize them (the way Battery does)

Oh yeah: how about the ability to drag samples between cells, and rename them on the Impulse interface :)
