[OT] Danny Byrd - Supersized

Post by logic_user99 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 11:02 am

Anyone else got this record yet? It's a bloody drum'n'bass masterpiece. I've had this, and Logistics 'Reality Checkpoint' on repeat for the last two weeks.

Anyone?

I have not heard of it, but I will certainly check it out :-) Hopefully it is on napster. I do like napster for checking out new music :-)

Smashing! check out the vids on youtube where he runs through some production techniques. Some wicked stuff in there. Big ups Byrdman!

Hmm - just sounds like a bunch of samples
I see no talent or appeal or originality
I guess as per normal I'm just plain wrong
:)
MacBook Pro 2.16ghz - lots of ModCan modular - and a talent for making a racket

Oh, nice! Was he doing a 'live' set, or was it a DJ appearance?

I keep listening to the album (at various volumes!) keep hearing little bits that I didn't hear before... there's SO much intricacy to his breaks, and vocals.

Lovely.

he DJ'd but was very VERy impressive. smooth as hell, fast cueing, great programming. it was probably the most entertaining D&B set we've had at the club, (UFO! and Random Movement tie for a close second)
