Just two days ago I stumbled upon a dj set I did on the 2nd of January 2007 and it made me realize I was on to something back then. I wonder if I'll feel the same about stuff I do now, because in general only 1 out 5 ideas from the past still seem good. That's two tracks of the ten released and one and a half remixes. Right now I feel I have a good general direction, but nothing actually comes out of it.
How about you?
Rediscovering your musical angle from the past
I often dig into my archives and rework or remix older tracks and ideas. For comparison check out the following links.
