Any way to resize a VST plugin's window?

Post by maxplanck » Sun Jun 08, 2008 9:09 pm

Is there any way to resize a VST plugin's window in Ableton?

I have a plugin which sets its window size too small and there's no scroll bar, so parts are unaccessable

depends on which plugin you're talking about - it has to be supported from the plugin side, as far as I know.

I remember reading/hearing that it was a limitation of VST 2. that you can not resize, thats why some VSTs have multiple GUI sizes. I might be wrong so flame me all you want...

Reaktor5 happily resizes its window when switching instruments/ensembles.
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.

reaktor VST doesn't support drag resize, you just numerically enter a pixel x pixel window size. you can also set it to resize automatically based upon the amount of screen space occupied by the contents of the current window when looking at an ensemble's internals.
