"flip listen" button in gate effect: this is a feature I appreciated so much that now I'm using in almost every new song.
The problem is that I can't save this parameter with the song, so I have to switch to flip every track it uses gate this way everytime I load the song. And there's no way to automate it, also. I guess this was something thought just to have a listen at what you're missing when you use gates, but It's becoming a main part of my style, now. I think (and hope) implementing this feature will not be a drama. And for me will be a small step towards happiness...
thanx,

could you elaborate?
hi, was wondering if you could elaborate on this a bit . . . i'm not really sure what you mean by "flip listen" . . .
seems like this should be possible w/ device on/off or with track speaker on/off ?

further explanations...
try putting a gate effect onto an audio track. The "flip" button, when it is switched on, makes you hear the part of the audio which is cut by the gate. That is to say: it let pass only the audio when its volume is UNDER the threshold level. Normally, a gate works the opposite way. This is useful to "listen" to what you're cutting out when you use the gate. I found it useful to get some interesting rhithm effect, that is the reason why I want it to become a parameter like the others, which can be saved and automated.

second that
Just wanted to second what reiky said: it would be very helpful if the setting of the 'flip' button could be saved. I actually use this plugin as a safety net for when I'm playing with lots of feedback: it cuts out the sound once it's hit an unhealthy amplitude. I use it on just about all my projects, and I always have to press the flip button when I start.
BTW, if there's a better way to do what I'm using it for, I'd appreciate suggestions.
