i have 1.8 Ghz pentium 4 laptop with 608 Mb memory and USB 1.0
i have novation remote25 connected via USB
when i record notes to ableton, novation keyboard behaves very strange: it has HUUUGE latency, i would even not call it latency, rather a RANDOM up-to-half-second delay. some notes are even missed! it's a total disaster. completely destroyed rhytm.
impossible to work like this.
recording via computer keyboard works fine - as it should do: the sounds are being played exactly at the moment the key is pressed.
anybody experienced problems like this? any suggestions what to do? i want to play on my novation keyboard...
