I'm using windows 98 on a 420 Mhz Sony laptop (128 Mb ram), through an EMI 2|6. I'm doing more and more with the arrange page lately, and if I'm working there for a while then go back to the track view to add files, Live chokes and I get wobbly time and garbled audio for a few seconds. - my CPU usage only ever goes up to 43%, and the disk light stays unlit, so I'm wondering where the problem is. (I've played around with emi latency w/no luck)
Is this an audio card issue? any other ideas?
