Follow Actions Question

Can one assign a follow action and still have the same clip that started the next clip still play?
Gear.. (2)P4 dual core, 4GB Ram, 256mb nividia

nope, but I think you can put it in the next scene, in a different column, and you're good to go, cuz it will trigger if you trigger that scene. Will that help?

maybe this might work (untested):
-both clips in legato mode,
-clip1 positioned at the top of the group
-clip2 is very short, maybe 1/16th
-clip2 is fired by clip1 for the purposes of controling a parameter via a clip envelope or sending a program change message etc.

clip2 would have to have its follow action assigned such that it would definitely play the first clip in the group at the end of clip length (or maybe sooner would work too)

Let us know what happens if u try that.

don't think too hard about this.

only one clip can play at a given time on a track

period
