Shaky vocals from pitch shift?

Post by adambomb337 » Mon Jun 16, 2008 5:57 am

When you pitch shift a song a few half steps (audio wave), I've noticed the voice and melody gets "shaky." Does anyone know how to make it smooth?

I already have HQ on.

Try putting it on complex mode as well. I find that always cleans things up a bit... :D

i guess the quality of Live's pitch shifting is limited because it works in realtime...

if you want really high quality shifting (especially for vocals), you probably need another app to do the job, something like Melodyne or Auto-Tune...
