Just been doing some work with sampler, and I have to say this a real nice addition to live. I know its been out for a while but i've never realy got into it till just recently, man I love this app. Thumbs up to the ableton crew. German's make good stuff. :D

Yeah, Sampler is cool, but there is one thing i miss. Or maybe i don't know about it.
Is there a possibility to map samples automaticly like for example in logics exs 24 you can map a bank of drumsamples each sound to one single key with one mouseclick by mapping "chromatical" ? Hope you understand what i mean...:-)
Cheers, Esky

the only way to do that is to map 127 samples at once with "map equally across the note range". this works.

if you have less than 127 samples, the samples will take a wider range each.

Ableton should really give us chromatic sample mapping !

the only thing i miss in sampler is a way to do kontakt like scripting, (maybe with max integration?), so i can ditch kontakt for live sampler completely.

drum racks+defaults..
Yes, drum racks do pretty much what i like to have in sampler, but sometimes i'd love to do it the oldschool way. And with defaults...first you have to create them, or what...?
Thanks for you answers anyway...!
