I am most probably being a bit silly here (It's got nothing to do with a bottle of jack daniels and pinot grigio), but I can't figure out why I can't midi map the crossfader to the x-session (normal not the pro version).
I'm on ableton 6. Previously, there wasn't the left/center/right options, so I'd just use the midi map to assign the crossfader on the x-session to the ableton crossfader. Badabing. Now though, when I assign the x-session fader to the 'center' it doesn't seem to work. I've tried all the settings from absolute through...and tried with normal knobs on both the x-session and oxygen 8, but it just wont work. I work in 'pick-up' mode and it just yellows out anywhere except where the xfader or knob hits the same value that the crossfader is sitting at.
Any ideas?
