Good Bass VST?

Post by matthewordie » Sun Jun 22, 2008 2:41 am

I'm looking for a VST that I can use to make bass lines with a keyboard. Something that sounds simple, like plugging in a bass into an amp. Don't need to many effects. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about an electric bass guitar or a synth guitar?

Two very different things.

I'm talking about a VST plug-in that I can use to make "electric bass guitar" sounds with. Simple smooth clean bass sounds.

Trilogy is still the best out there, but you can actually recieve convincing results using any synth with a fitting filter-setting and a combination of trianglea and saw waveforms and routing it through a bass amplifier simulator.

Try Slayer 2 might suit you even better for guitar bass. Great emulator! Check out the demo on refx´s site.
