I am trying to open WAV files from a Fostex machine we recorded on. The problem I am having is that when all the tracks (11) are opened opened in Live 6. They are all out of synch is this typicall? Since all the tracks were recorded in synch. Or is it time to do some editing with the tracks to get them back to normal? Thanks for any help?

Go into preferences.
Select the Record/warp/launch tab.
Deselect Auto-warp long samples.
Open a new live session and make sure it is the same tempo as the fostex machine.
Export all of your tracks from the fostex as continuous files starting right at the start of the arrangement, so if you have a section that starts five bars in you will have five bars of silence in front.
Drag all of the tracks into lives arrange page..
You should be golden.
From here you can edit to your hearts content and creat loops to drag into the session page and then go at it from there..
