knob twisting behaviour

Is there a global switch to change the knob twisting mode from circular
to vertical? Some VST Instruments/Effects seem to have the vertical
dragging mode implemented (synth1, kjaerhus classic serie) and some
have the annoying habit to only let you change the knob values by
moving the mouse in circles (imposcar, polyblit).

Maybe i missed something in the manual? Or is it up to the plugin
programmer how the knobs behave? I'm using Live 4.03.

Hi geistfrei,

the behavior of knobs within the Plug-In's own view depends on the Plug itself. Live has no influence on that behavior.
