loading files from browser mousless&keyboard korg PK

This is Driving Me Crazy lol cant load Singel files from the live Browser.All i wanna do is to use my korg padKonrol to load Songs from the Browser to the Same Track Slot which was playing before...I know you can hit Enter to load the songs....But that loads the song and Creats another new track slots..and thats not what i want. I just wanna use live as a Dj app...so that if i'm going to a gig, i w'll not need to take a mouse with me or use my pc keyboard. just the controller. is there any tip from you GuRu's out there to help me out?

what you need to do is to use a translator that first cuts the selected clip slot (if needed ofcourse) sends out the open browser keyboard shortcut, shifts the focus to the browser window, and then outputs a copy shortcut, then another script that closes the browser, move back to your previous clip slot and pastes the clip. or something similar to that effect, mainly you need to write a script to simulate keyboard shortcuts to do it for you.

check out the pk script that phat conductor made if you dont wanna make your own.

edit: the no keyboard/mouse tutorial link in my sig has a part in the tutorial where i do this kind of thing with bomes midi translator for windows, and also explain the shortcuts for it. check it

that's really something that should be improved in live. because of that complicated process i'm loading all files into session view in advance

This would take you 5 minutes to set up in Bomes. Piss easy.

Thats Right. I hope they will Notice it and make some changes. that will be very cool. so that we will not been useing 3rd party software to do the job... for thos that have no clue in programing that will help. "someone like me"

..but i'ill be using that trick till they add that feature to live hopefully.I think we are not the only people that wishes, This should be Added. so let's hope for the Best.
