live 4.0.3 - rme mutliface dsp - external audio-in

have problems to route a external signal over the multiface into live.
in the programm preferences i try to configure the audio input channels.
when i click on the input channel 1+2, 3+4 and click on "ok". the input channels are not saved. so i am not able to route the external signal (microphone) on ext. in 1+2 or 3+4 on my audio track in the clip-view.
when i try to get an input signal with the hammerfall dsp mixer all is fine!
i use the newest hammerfall drivers 1.5d for osx panther (10.3.5). what is wrong? the audio outputs are working fine with live.

any ideas or shares...

the same scenario is working fin with logic pro... all inputs are working fine!

did u flashed the latest firmware over the cardbus-card ???

yes i did: card: HDSP Alu Powerbook / revision 12 / status: up-to-date
