Bezier Curves in Automation Envelopes

hello this is my first post on this forum! woohooo
anyway slightly ot:

is there a way to draw with a straight line when editing midi velocity?
say to build up a snare drum crescendo
i know you can edit automation between two points in the track, and thats what ive been doing for a work around with the track volume, but using midi velocity can give a very different, more human, natural sound rather than just volume manipulation.

if not, then i want this feature along with the curves for automation and midi too!

Another BUMP!

Smooth volume changes (like fade in / fade out) would be so much easier to to if we had these curves!
