tempo freakout

for some unfathomable reason my copy of live (7.0.3 running on a macbook) is running 10bpm slow. ie the tempo will indicate 128bpm but it's really only playing at 118bpm. any suggestions on how i might fix this will be very gratefully received.

128bpm is to 118bpm what 48khz is to 44.1 khz. /mensa.

I think your problem is one of sample rate - what is live set up for?

that's exactly what it was. i have no idea how the sample rate changed and have no idea how i was so dumb as not to work that out.
