OT - Shit Jobs

For those of you who aren't lucky enough to get paid enough, just to make tunes for a living, what kind of shit job do you have?

Is your job a shit job that you wouldn't recommend to others?

I do telephone HR/Customer Service for a pretty big company. My job consists of many things with health insurance, and payroll... Lot's of times, just telling people that they can no longer have health insurance cause they didn't pay on time, also telling people how much they're paid per check, and I hear a lot of HR type complaints...

Basically I hate my job, would love to hear others hate theirs too...

I'm a law clerk (phony paralegal) at my Dad's Law Office. I just do it for the Summer inbetween school, but it still sucks.

I graduate next May. I'm looking forward to getting another shit job, this time year-round....

POSH FUCKERS

Never fancied an office job myself..I build houses in the day time..i have a small construction company run by myself and my cousin..nice! he's the architect and im the bricklayer (my trade) and we do pretty well but it's always nice to get home and back to using live after a hard days graft....

I'm work as an "online editor", editing legal stuff. Its OK but not the stuff boys' dreams are made of.

My worst ever job was selling charity raffle tickets over the phone - cold calling.

My second worst was working in a processed meat factory.

I once took a job cold calling to get magazine subscriptions...

My first and only day, I made over 300 calls, and out of all those calls, maybe ten people didn't send me straight to voicemail or didn't pick up and hang up.

Out of the ten, maybe one actually let me finish the paragraph spiel i had to say... The rest all hung up on me seconds after I started talking...

The one lady who listened to me, said no politely, then hung up quickly.

oh my god, i've recently been totally obsessed by getting a mac, so much that i've even read the thread title as OT - Steve Jobs, but now that it's Shit Jobs, maybe i should not be so encharmed by apple, after all...

I work for one of the largest commercial tv and satellite music dealer at their corporate headquarters (I'm sure eveyone is familiar with this place)
I'm a commercial tv business specialist; basically that means
everyone's bitch for stuff they don't want to deal with, or are too lazy to try to understand.
I track $$$ our department brings in, a little marketing work for our website/sales support, and am helpful in inserting my foot up co-worker's asses when needed.

def way, way underpaid (like most people)

but not peeing in a cup is a plus!
on the flip side of that, there are alot of dumb F!@#ers around here.

Tig and mig welder. ....its dirty but ok, pays ok. The only thing I hate about it is that you have dreams of welding stuff together in your sleep.
