"Samples are missing" when none are

I just installed 7.0.5 and it informs me in the status area that "Samples are missing. Please click here to learn more." When I scan my Library however, it says that no samples are missing (which is correct). Is there anything I can do to make this annoying message go away?

I reinstalled 7.0.5 on top of itself and the message went away. Hopefully this helps someone else!

Hello Naim,

I guess you did loose your Metronome (samples) on the first installation - a reinstallation does solve this problem.

I had the missing sample issue and reinstalled 7.07. Fixed it, but then it came back. My project has about 2000 clips in it and something else I noticed was that when I reinstalled, the project also loaded much faster than before. When it reverted back to the missing sample problem, it got slower again.

I guess I'll live with it until there is a fix.

I wonder if this is my problem.

One of my sessions is telling me I have 5 missing samples (and yes, everything in this session is missing except one midi track). I've been using this Ableton 7 (no updates/upgrades have been done yet) for 5 days and this is the first time it's happened, despite playing this particular set last night just fine.

I have lost my partner's tracks!! They're gone! She will kill me. lol

I did try to download the 7.07 update, but it took almost 2 hours and then 11 minutes before it was meant to finally finish so I could install it, the net connection died for a few seconds and it cut off. It wouldn't commence downloading again even once the net was back up. GRRR.
