Pasting Midi Remote Control Settings.

Hey,

Does anyone know if it's possible to paste MIDI remote control assignments into a previous session. I've just got a new Faderfox controller and I don't want to have to go through x no. of sessions and have to reassign every single function.

thats what the ableton prefs "template" is for.. set it up as you like it, copy and paste the old non mapped file into a new file created from the new template. . (i actually set up a few different templates and save em for different controllers and applications)

Thanks dude,

But I was hoping there would be some other way of importing assignments to an OLD session, as you can only copy+paste clips, not plugins etc. and some of my recent session have had a large amount of dsp stuff that I was kinday hoping I wouldn't have to spend hours duplicating...!

I'm guessin it's not possible...but I was hopin' I was being dumb.
