Q: Using Ableton, Virus Control and Novation Automap

In theory I'm looking at adding a Virus Snow to my setup and using Novation's automap with the Virus Control to overcome the more mnml interface of the Snow.

Just wondering if anyone has used these 3 together.

I have all three and they work great! Of course you might have to dig in and modify/build a preset for the virus, you might have a preference as to what goes on the sliders vs knobs etc, but I love the setup.

I will caution you that the novation can be a beast to set up at first, there's still plenty of room for improvement in their integration of the TI concept.

Got this on Friday - works like an absolute dream, I just need to get my latency down a bit

With my quad core system I can run the virus at it's lowest latency setting and get something obscene like 4ms. On my duo core laptop I have to put it in the middle.
