runing L3 on the master creates un-compensatable audio latecy.
i'm running lots of midi sunc and notes (through a merge function in edirol 880 midi interface) out to korg es1 and 2 virus KB synths.
i send the sync to the es1 port, to make it start with ableton, and the merge function let me send the sync and notes to the other machines on my set up.
when running L3 on the master track i get non-linear audio latency and slowly the es1 BPM sync is lost. after few rounds it totaly miss the bar's begining. sending notes to the virus also sounds out of sync.
the latency configuration in ableton is right and the midi sync gets the same latency the CPU and sound card creats.
removing L3 solves the sync problem, but............i love this multiband comp on my mix.
any suggestions?
(sorry for miss-spellings, i'm not an english native speaker)
