Mine's on order, it is more expensive than the service I have now, but I have an unseeingly good plan, ($40 for 1500 minutes), and no internet etc.djadonis206 wrote:I did the math this AM. It will cost you in money a little under $250 dollars over the course of your two year contract to upgrade or purchase a new Iphone
however, you will be on the 3g network - which some people would gladly $250 for
Apple did a good job on the pricing and service - they didn't screw over the original users and the new users are getting what they're paying for
all in all its a good day to have an Iphone
The simple fact that people will be making nice step sequencers, Kaos Pad type MIDI controllers, and that I can write it off as a business expense, ( I need a decent sync-able calendar, camera, and GPS), makes the price difference negligible IMO. A plan for a competing system is maybe at best $15 cheaper, and isn't dead tight with OSX, or Windows for that matter.
