After Creating A Device Rack, with several Chains...

Puttting nice names on like.. Kik, Snare, etc (or maybe a custom drum set for eg).

Right Click on the Chain 'Name' and you can toggle "Show names in Midi Editor"..

I can now see the names of my beats as I program them... sweet mama, I just wet myself

The 'multiple MIDI note selection' to control a parameter! *see other thread*

That's just made the ol' Oxygen 8 a whole load more useful.

Sidechain is on Compressor, Gate and Autofilter. The little triangle-sign opens a hidden window where you can choose the trigger signal.

on a similar note (no pun intended) click and drag an area of time in the MIDI note editor and press CLTR+L and it will engage the clip's loop brace.
i knew that was possible in arrangement but not in note editor. Lovely!
Works in envelope editor too.

Antoher beaut I just found today:
Minus and plus wil fold/unfold any device, like a singe EQ3 for example.
Is this new to L7 or have I been missing it for ages?

I had forgotten to adjust the ASIO4ALL preferences to work with my Line6 TonePort UX1 instead of my laptop's internal sound card. Until recently, I was running the UX1's included ASIO which is much slower than ASIO4ALL. Damned be my noobishness!

I'm not sure whether than belongs to the thread or not, but I created it, so whatever :P

Minus works for me, but not plus. Double clicking also does it.

My 'plus' is 'Shift' with 'Equals' if that helps.

Ahh yes. Works now. Kinda crappy though that one has to hold down shift, but its not one of those shortcuts I would use often.

You can midi map the loop points, and also two buttons in the clip-panel (not the global transport) called rewind and fast forward. These nice little buttons make the clip jump back and forth in the notes (or in the audio). The leap depends on the quantization settings of the clip (which I belive is also automatable).

Nice toy, feels like scratching and makes little variations in a clip a breeze. Midi map rewind, set the clip quantization to 1/16 and push the rewind button again and again while the midi notes or the audio are recorded on another track - very cool.

just found out yesterday that renaming a scene "## bpm" changes the global tempo to that speed when you play it. genius!

you can also put a time signature in there as well. For example:

"6/8 135bpm"
