can't get to 4.04 update file

I'm having the same problem here. I've tried it on Mac with Safari, and on Windows XP with IE and Firefox. It keeps going between the enter serial number page and the choose your version page. I've tried lowering the cookie policy to lowest, but still no luck.

both ways form live and over the page i go in circles...does anybody if i could download the demo 4.0.4 and when its ask for srial nummers i put it in or are there missing anything in the demo???

Me, too. Round and round in circles in search of the update. I eventually managed to get it by finding my Ableton receipt and clicking on the update link which had my serial no. in the string.

Try this link. Replace the XXXX with your serial number. It's the only way that worked for me.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I meant copy this link, then past it into your browsers URL, then replace the XXXX-XXXX... with your serial number and hit your go button. It should take you directly to the choose your version page. Simply clicking on the link will take you to the wrong page.
