Sorry mate, i have the same lack of knowledge, actually. "Angle plates",that phrase comes from a wordbook that I'm using. So...it's a piece of metal that has a 90 degree angle and wholes for fixing the gear on it and for mounting it on the shelf. Pretty standard stuff from a building center. I hope this has helped you a little...

Angle iron is the heavy duty, 5mm thick stuff (iron).

Nah you can't use that stuff, it's too hard to drill holes for mounting, etc. :twisted:
