How to globally turn off automation?

Ok guys, I know how to do it on an SSL console, but not in Live 4! I'd just like a global automation on/off switch for an arrangement that already has automation written. I realize automation can be selectively over-ridden on individual tracks, but is there a "global" method?
I'd like to be able to stop Live, switch of automation, and have controls stay where they were when stop was pressed.
