You would be fine getting 8020 but frankly once you dislike something and frustrated forget about it. It does not mean these speakers are not good but they are definitely not for you, that is like bad marriage, fighting to make it work is waste of time and everything else. I would advice 8030 or 8020 + Genelec sub which is useful in detecting low end problems.
Very good comment! Thats what I thought. The first 2-3 weeks should be spend to get them knnow better. After that time you should get in to the sound.
But this didn't happen. I had to work with my Sennheiser to get something done.... :?

It is/was so frustrating that I won't psychologically be able to work with them- only I can't say:

GUYS GO TO SHOP AND LISTEN FIRST!! Don't make the price the decision I won't make the mistake again!

That stupid is, I wanted to buy the 8030 first. And I had the money for it. But I thought, you can save some money.....

Fuckin' weird..now I sell them and make 50€ lost, when the guy buys them......hope he do it!!

Marketing gag. Like the genlec 6010 & 5040 too. They want to come across this ipod f*ck*n trend. Just a waste of money for my opinion. Look sweet....yeah...
still hope the guy buys my a7 - genelec I'm comin'
