EVP in Live 4???
EVP in Live 4???
Hey,
THis could be a dumbass question, so I'm fully prepared for torrents of abuse. But is it possible to run Logic instruments in Live 4???
I'm running OSX 10.3.5 with Live 4.0.4. Although I'm primarily a Pro Tools user, I've also got Logic Pro 6 on my laptop system for a few projects I've been working on in non PT studio's, and I've been slowly won over by the fairly gorgeous EVP88.
Is this possible?
Anyone help me out?
Aes.

Sorry, but this is the best I can do... set up a second machine with logic and sync-slave it via MIDI to your Live machine. Run the audio out on the second machine into one of your ins on the live machine and set an audio track to monitor.
Effectively... turn it into a MIDI instrument.
Hope that helps!

Re: EVP in Live 4???
They have the evp73 as a vsti, you know.... It's a bit stripped down compared to the evp88, but it still sounds awesome. And you can always rewire logic to live, if i'm not mistaken.Aesoteric wrote:Hey,

muthafunka has a good point (I don't use macs... at the moment) ... or the Jack audio server, which is open source...

I have heard very good things - it allows you to send audio to and from any application(s). By all accounts more flexible than soundflower, and free.
