gah, the non workiness of the midi feature with live well annyoing. are there any other vododer plugins that have the same feature and work in live?

Which "non workiness" MIDI features do you mean? I'm using Orange Vocoder (2.7) which works great in Live 4, even as MIDI controlled VST effect.
