Basically live would rock a lot lot harder if there were 2 modes, studio and live.
Studio gives you less polling etc but frees up more resources.
Yes it's a live instrument but it's also a f*knig daw and it's frustrating that the most easy to use and intuitive one doesn't have a mode where it's comparable to other sequencers. . ..
I have just got a new octo core mac and 1 instance of Minimonsta playing a patch that is a bit of a cpu hog is taking up 35% of the resource meter in live.
