Help me please - UC33 controler + Ableton 7

I am having trouble mapping the controls on my UC33e to Ableton. I thought all I needed to do was click on the MIDI icon in live and away I go?

Anyone think of something I am overlooking here?

Open prefrences and make sure that the UC-33 (USB audio device) is "ON" for remote.
Also if you set it up in the top part as a remote you can use the "lock" feature where preset 1 on the UC33 will user the top 8 knobs to control which ever live device has the blue hand on it (usualy the active device if you haven't manually locked it)
