Hey there,
I just got a FW410 used and it has a problem with the #1 headphone out.
it is outputing audio only on the righthand side.
the second output on the bottom is fine. any ideas?
also i cant figure out how to cue audio to just the head phones, when i put cue out to another channel i get nothing....

I also had the same problem.
It's just a dry joint where the headphone socket connects to the PCB internally.
Easily fixed - just open the FW410 up, apply a bit of extra solder to the joints (or remove old solder first if you've got the tools and patience) and problem solved. Might also be worth using some glue of similar to secure the socket by more than just the solder to prevent he problem occuring again.
