If you haven't checked out the latest livefill for L7 by Trackteam, do yourself a BIG favor and check it out: http://www.trackteamaudio.com/

There are some great drum samples and very cool sounds. Lots of clips, and tons of flexibility. Their best drum product yet!!! Highly recommended!!

Agreed, from what I can tell so far this is an awesome pack. I did have a problem with mine only doing a partial install and leaving out some samples though. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Seems like I'm the only one having any trouble, anyone got any suggestions.

Well keep em commin...

@lvehon-
Are you on Vista by any chance? Drum.Crate Installs fine on all OS X10.5 , 10.4 and XP pro sp2...Had reports from another Vista User That the Livepack only partially installed. Think I found the source of the hiccup, will send new links when the situation is resolved.

I've just been listening to the demos here:
http://www.trackteamaudio.com/crateflashplayer.html
and they sound not too shabby. :D

I'd love to find out more about how these kits were all recorded/made.

Hi guys

I also get a partial install... which means that some of the sounds are not available in the library...
I'm on XPSP2 and it's the first time I get such message installing livepack.
Mike, could you help please?

Thanks a lot,

Cheers

Romain

I seem to have a partial install as well. On XPSP2 here.

Seems like some Tom samples are missing.... are the same samples used in multiple kits??

I can confirm that Tom samples are missing on the Build Your Own (or something similar) kit.
Also, I realized that my Akai MPD 24 does not transmit note off properly.
One of the presets has a Note Length in the chain which has a chain that is only activated with Note Off. (Giving a nice sound when you end the sound.)
I found that this worked fine on my MIDI keyboards but not with the MPD 24. I only get the Note On chain activated (not the Note Off chain).
Any advice on this?

Also, where are the individual samples and individual drum rack components located, if you want to build your own kits using samples from the collection?

The documentation that comes along with the package is very poor. I have to look around all the folders and see where what has been installed.

I bought 4 packs from TTA and its very confusing to know which pack has installed what, where. All these packs should come with some documentation detailing what should be installed and what all has been included in the package.

Just updated the drum.crate livepack. Everyone who purchased the collection should have received a new downlink with installation instructions. If you have purchased the collection but have not received a new link, please send an email to contact @ trackteamaudio DOT com.

FIXED:
- Installation should now complete on all windows xp, vista and Mac OS X.
- Windows users have reported that when opening some Live Clips, Live shows a message that certain audio units are not present on the machine. This only seems to happen on Windows XP/Vista. This message should not appear in the newer version of the Livepack.

INSTALLATION INFO:

- all drum.crate presets have DRMCRT prefix
they can be found by searching for "DRMCRT" from Lives browser or spotlight (OS X ) / Search ( Windows ). All collections have a prefix. for example:

beatbox 1.6 = BTBX01.6
Modmachines =MoDMcN
Terragroove =TRGRV01
Orbiter = ORbTR01
..............

- all drum.crate Live Clips/.als files have DRMCRT prefix as well and are located in your Live Library/Clips/-TrackTeam Audio/Drum Loops/ directory. All Live clips/.als files from other collections will have the same prefix as the presets for that collection. They should have been installed in the Clips folder in your Live Library as well.

- Samples work a but differently. However, they are all installed to the Live Library/Samples/TrackTeam Audio/.... directory, from there they are added to whatever folder suits them best. Not all of the samples are labelled by collection because sometimes the same sample will be used in more than one collection, and I see no need to have two or more of the same samples with a different name. seems like a waste of space to me...

Most of the samples from drum.crate have _d2_ somewhere in the name. so search for this and it should return all of drum.crate's samples.

Hope that clears things up...If not let me know.

Peace,
michael Hatsis
