ReMote Zero SL Automap Issue

hi 2 all.this is my first post here...im from Croatia and i have a problem.just bought Novation ReMote Zero SL and automap is great,everything is just fine....but,i would like to create my custom button assignment's which is as i see impossible 2 do with automap...so can someone just tell me how 2 delete that automap??i asked earlier i got the answer but i still dont know how 2 do it.pls help

i got this..

To unistall:

Quit all hosts & Automap Server. It is very important to unwrap all plugins using the plug-in manager. If you don't do this you'll need to:

-delete all "??? (Automap).vst" copies
-delete all "??? (Automap).dpm" copies
-rename all "???.dpma" to "???.dpm"

Delete AutomapServer.app from /Applications
Delete AUAutomapClient.component from User AU folder
Delete shortcut to AutomapServerEngine.bundle from /Application Support/Propellerhead/ReWire

That will just leave the package receipts in /Library but they are mostly harmless.

i didnt install that plugins...and dont know wtf is that plugin manager...

cant find that folder Applications or folder User AU,or Application Support...just can't find it.please help...greets,tnx

hi

could it be that you dont use the automap server app from novation, but the automap template (i think it´s template No. 40 in the remote SL)?
I don´t use the Automap server, but still can use automapping via the automap template; If you want to have a strikt assingment of buttons you need to build you own template:

use the template editor that came with the Remote 0 SL, and copy a template that suits you needs (i would recommend using the ableton live template), change the rest to whatever you like, upload it (it´s described in the manual) and select it on the 0 SL - after that you should be able to use your own template... have fun!

i cant find that template editor on dvd-s that came with controller.i installed just the main application,so probably template editor is in some other installation.perhaps u know where so i dont have 2 install all?

get it there - but you have to register an account first (no big deal).

i got it installed earlier from my cd/dvd that came with the 0 SL, but it´s a good idea to update it now...

do you mean delete the automap server software?

if you´re on a mac go to the apps folder and delete the Automap software, and go to /User/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components/ and delete the AUAutomapClinet.component file. Restart Live and you´re done...

on the PC no idea

but i guess similar, only with VSTi´s...

i cant find that app folder man.its not in novation or in steinberg folder.i use pc.i have the instructions for deleting(in 1st post of this problem)but i still dont know how to do it cause i cant find it.

i guess all you have to do is delete the AUtomap VSTi. check your steinberg-folder or do a search, i don´t know much about where the VSTis go on a pc. and if you don´t wand automap, just setup your remote SL with another template, and you´re fine!

i searched by windows that automap...no results.in steinberg folder is nothing

i still have the same problem.i installed all plug-ins,i still can't find any UserAU folder or anything where i could delete the automap...can someone help?tnx

i have finaly disabled the automap ad deleted all files that i had to.so ok.now when i turn controller on,it says:automap is OFFLINE.so i still cant do any assignments in Live...do i have to use a certain template or what?tnx
