Is that a cooler under your macbook pro? I have one that I used to use under my PC laptop but it's useless under my MBP as there's no space between the underneath of my MBP and the surface of the cooler for the air to move.

Forge, what do you think of those Yamaha monitors? I have the same model, and I cannot figure out if they are good for techno/house music production or not. I must say the lack of bass is quite disconcerting, but I am getting used to it. I took the advice of a friend in Berlin who swore by them.

How do you find them? What style do you produce?

What do you guys use to 'tilt' your laptops without them overheating? I know that alot of the newer Macs (and the Powerbooks) get pretty hot.

Any suggestions?

There are a lot available. I use both the larger & smaller version of the Targus CoolPad stands. I like that the height is adjustable (Leggo style), that they function as a lazy susan allowing you to rotate the computer on a central axis, are small, rugged, easy to transport, & relatively inexpensive. All in all, nifty.

The reason I own a PS3.

The toy that on occasion actually gets me to leave my music alone.
