Pioneer DJM midi control of Ableton

I've connected up a djm 1000 through an audio kontrol 1 audio device to operate ableton but it only recognises the cross fader. None of the other mixer controls register on the midi indicator and therefore cannot be mapped.

I am unable to dump data from the preferences tab as the mixer is being operated through the AK1 audio device.

I have sent a question to Native Instrument to see if they have any suggestions but wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience. I believe the midi function on the DJM 1000 is the same as the more widely used DJM800

Not sure about the the DJM 1k but the DJM 800 has a tutorial on how to map everything. You might be able to use that information or ask the guys over at the Pioneer forum. Particulary Dj Pulse. He is one of the mods over at the Pioneer forum. There is also a downloadable dpf file for the hook up process for the DJM 800 and Ableton on the forum.

thanks for the reference to the pioneer forum. It appears that the djm1000 is only geared only for crossfade and bpm midi control

Currently trying to find out if any firmware upgrade is available
