Bidule midi recording

Bidule midi recording

How come when you record a midi file in bidule you cant play in back in ableton. Ableton wont recognize the file

I don't have this problem... (mac or pc?)... I'm on a mac.

I am not sure, but if I remember well you have to put bidule vsti in a midi track, route midi to another track and put your instruments in it.

I used to use Plogue Bidule before I upgraded to Ableton Live 6 (then 7). Prior to taht I used version 2 for years which as you may or may not remember, didn't support vsti's. I order to use a vsti, I had to run a utility like Bidule, which seemed to work fine.

I'm on a mac and all I ever did was dropt hat recorded midi file into a midi track. The file would play back fine.
