i saw Gong live in nyc back in the late 90's, it was with daevid and gilly, so it was like the PHP, You and Angels Egg material, not the horrible prog shit they did after... that was pretty cool.

King Crimson... saw them once, biggest collection of absolute dorks I've ever seen in my life, total sausage fest as well. dorkiest concert ever, next to Ween and Gwar.

Thanks for the suggestions man. I've already been listening to Porcupine Tree. That tune "Glass Arm Shattering" is fantastic. I'll check out some of that other stuff you recommended.
