Customisable Fader Height for mixer in Session view

Post by jasefos » Wed Oct 20, 2004 2:10 am

Howdy Ableton's

Just another suggestion.

In a future version it would be good to have the ability to scale the GUI representing the mixer fader's in Session view.

Currently mixing with a mouse in this view feels "cramped".

Many elements of the Live GUI are resizable using a draggable divider element in the GUI. For example Clip View height is adjustable (Ableton's, I LOVE this aspect of the GUI design - having a "screen" with resizable elements is vastly superior to having many overlapping windows).

If the line separating the top of the Mixer Section faders and the Track Panners could become the means for increasing the vertical height of the Faders that would be a further enhancement to an already fine interface and would give a better visual for finer incremental mixer adjustments.

you have all the good ideas lately! I support this one too!
also maybe a numerical readout so you could actually see whn you are at zero without having to switch to the arrange page...this has been a missing feature I think.
best,
