how can I do this.. grouping tracks to move them at the same

Post by luism » Sat Aug 16, 2008 1:39 am

Hi all..
Let me explain..
So I am working on a mix with 2 audio tracks..
Track one has song A C E G
Track two has song B D F

and so forth..

so.. for example song D blends/mixes into song E and song E into F and so forth..

My mix is all finished all the tracks flow great the beats match great etc.. but then I notice that I messed up and song D (and because its a continuous mix..all songs after that) needs to be shifted by 2 beats the left ( ie earlier) but if I grab D alone and fix it it messes up all the tracks afterwards and I need to fix each one of them individually..

Question: how can I "group" the tracks (in this case D E F G ) so that I can move the whole group 2 beats earlier on the timeline without screwing up the other blends?

Thanks

I'm assuming you are using the arrangement view for this??

...Its just a matter of dragging your cursor to highlight the songs you want and then drag. It will allow you to move them over 2 beats, easily.
