Yeah, I pretty much read a similar review in one of my Cm mags, I'm going to pick up the wav or Guru pack myself I think.

Goldbaby-Samples are great. I have the XRB-Sample Pack. Really really strong.

I just wish they sold more formats together. I emailed them but I'm assuming if you purchase one of the formats besides just the WAV files that you get of course pre-made kits with pre-rolled loops. I but would also think that the WAV samples had kits also right?

no, they are just wavs. but Huggy at Goldbaby is a gent and worked out a nice upgrade to the Guru pack. excellent customer service, and as the OP said, the best 808 samples ever recorded.

The 24-bit is a pre, bought today all the packs from Goldbaby and I'm verry pleased.
And the price is super OK

Also take a look at soniccouture, some very interesting drumsamples

These guys make some great sample packs. I've got most of them and their all good. The MPC vinyl ones are awesome!
